3rd Protein Biophysics at the End of the World

 

3rd Protein Biophysics at the End of the World (PBATEOTW), a series of Symposia and Workshops on Protein Folding, Function, Structure and Dynamics, will be held in 5 more days between April 24-27 at Casa Central, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC).

 

We are going bigger! Now the Symposia and Lectures will take place at Salon de Honor UC, thus we have opened LATE REGISTRATIONS for all undergrad/graduate students and researchers who would like to attend the conference! The deadline for Late Registrations is April 23 at 12 PM.

Conference Program! Available at the official website http://pb2018.sitios.ing.uc.cl, it consist of 8 Symposia, 4 Keynote Lectures and 4 Computational Workshops, including a Session on Science in Latin America with the participation of Mario Hamuy (President of CONICYT Council). The list of international speakers includes Jose N. Onuchic (Rice University), Charles R. Sanders (Vanderbilt University), Alejandro Buschiazzo (ICGEB Speaker, Institut Pasteur Montevideo), Sergio Pantano (ICGEB Speaker, Institut Pasteur Montevideo), Matias Machado (Institut Pasteur Montevideo), Lucia B. Chemes (ICGEB Speaker, Universidad Nacional de San Marcos), Alejandro J. Vila (Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular de Rosario), Diego U. Ferreiro (ICGEB Speaker, Universidad de Buenos Aires) and Ernesto A. Román (PABMB Speaker, Universidad de Buenos Aires). The conference also includes talks given by Young Scientists financed by International Societies and of Chilean researchers from Santiago and other regions.

 

Free Registration! The registration to this event is free for all attendees. Also, international and national young scientists financed by the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), Biophysical Society (BPS) and Pan-American Association for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PABMB) will be presenting during the conference.
