The Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (ROLAC) of the International Council for Science (ICSU) is pleased to circulate INGSA’s call grant opportunities for science advice projects in the Global South.
Applications are now open for the new INGSA Research Associate Grant Programme. These grants are offering the opportunity for researchers and policy professionals to undertake projects investigating the role of science evidence and advice in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Six recipients will be awarded from countries in the Global South (check the list of eligible countries in the links below), and provided with up to €15,000 each to complete their project.

Selection timetable and process
Call for applicants: 15 September 2017
Submission deadline: 15 November 2017
Review and selection: December 2017
Funding decision / award: January 2018
Grant commencement: 1 March 2018
Attendance at INGSA Conference: 21-22 September 2018
Submission of grant deliverables: February 2019
