Dear Dr,
Interested in using your science skills to inform science policy? Interested in spending a year working on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, helping develop policy? The Biophysical Society is now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 fellowship year.
This year-long opportunity provides fellows a chance to use their science knowledge in a unique way, to get a first-hand taste on how Congress works, and to participate in the esteemed AAAS Science and Technology Fellows program that provides ongoing training and networking opportunities during the fellowship year and beyond.
All 2016 BPS members who have obtained their PhD and are either U.S. citizens or hold a visa allowing them the right to work in the United States are eligible to apply.
Visit the website for more details about the program. The application deadline is December 15, 2016.
